Privacy policy

Last updated 25 September 2026.

Trident Detailing collects the smallest amount of information that lets us find your vehicle, price the work, take payment and tell you what we did. We do not sell it, and we do not share it for advertising.

What we collect and why

Name and email address
To confirm the booking, send the receipt and the photo report, and reach you if something changes.
Phone number
To call or text you on the day if we cannot find the vehicle or the gate code fails. Text reminders are separate and optional.
Service address and access notes
To get to the vehicle and to work out the travel zone and the fee.
Vehicle year, make, model, color and size
To price the job correctly, allow the right amount of time, and identify the right car in a shared driveway.
Booking history and job notes
To know what was done to your paint last time, which changes what is safe to do this time.
Payment details
Held by Stripe, never by us. We keep a token that lets us charge the card you authorized, plus the last four digits and the card brand so you can recognise it.
Consent records
The exact text you agreed to, its version, the time, your IP address and your browser, because card networks require a merchant to be able to produce the agreement behind a charge.

Who it is shared with

Three processors, each doing one job. None of them is permitted to use your information for anything other than the service they provide to us.

Stripe
Payments and subscriptions. Stripe receives your name, email, and card details, which go straight to Stripe and never through our systems in readable form.
Resend
Email delivery. Resend receives your name and email address so the confirmation, reminder and receipt reach you.
Google Calendar
The owner’s working calendar. The event holds your name, the service, the address and the booking reference so the right van turns up at the right house.

We will also disclose information if the law requires it. There is no other sharing: no data brokers, no advertising networks, no sale of customer lists.

How long it is kept

Booking records, receipts and consent records are kept for seven years, because tax and payment-dispute rules require a merchant to be able to produce them.

Vehicle and job notes are kept while you are a customer, so the next visit is informed by the last one.

Photo reports are kept for two years, then deleted. Ask us and we will delete yours sooner.

Abandoned bookings that were never paid for are deleted within thirty days.

Seeing, correcting or deleting your information

Email bookings@tridentdetailtx.com from the address you booked with and tell us what you want: a copy of what we hold, a correction, or deletion. We answer within thirty days.

Deletion removes your contact details, address, vehicle records and job notes. Records we are legally required to keep, which means paid invoices and the consent behind a charge, are retained for the periods above and then deleted.

Texas residents have these rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act. We apply the same process to everyone regardless of where they live.

This website

The booking flow sets one cookie that remembers your unfinished booking. It is not an advertising cookie and it is not shared. There is no third-party analytics or advertising tracking on this site.

We record errors through our hosting and error-reporting tools so a broken page can be fixed. Those records hold the URL and the error, not the contents of your booking.

The site is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
