SMS terms
Last updated 25 September 2026.
Text messages are optional. You can book, pay and be looked after entirely by email. Agreeing to texts is never a condition of booking or of any price.
What the program is
Trident Detailing sends text messages about your booking: an appointment reminder, a message if the van is running late, a weather reschedule, and a note when the work is finished.
This is the disclosure shown beside the checkbox at checkout, word for word:
Text me appointment reminders and updates about my Trident Detailing booking. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.
The checkbox starts unchecked. We do not treat a booking, a payment or a reply as consent to text you.
Message frequency and cost
Message frequency varies and depends on your bookings. In practice that is a small number of messages around each appointment, typically under five.
Message and data rates may apply. What your carrier charges for a text is between you and your carrier; we do not add anything to it.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Stopping and getting help
Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You get one confirmation message and then nothing further. Opting out of texts does not cancel your booking, and we will still email you.
Reply HELP for help, or email bookings@tridentdetailtx.com.
You can also withdraw consent by emailing us. Tell us the number and we will remove it.
Marketing texts
We do not send marketing texts. If that ever changes, it will be a separate, clearly labelled checkbox that starts unchecked, and agreeing to booking reminders will never sign you up for it.
Your number
Your phone number is used to reach you about your booking and nothing else. It is not sold, and it is not shared with anyone for their own marketing. The privacy policy covers how long we keep it and how to have it deleted, and the terms of service cover the booking itself.
